40 bred Salers heifers for sale. Bred to calving ease Salers bulls to start calving March 1st for 80 days. Vet pregged 17 as March calvers, 23 as April calvers. Average around 925 pounds. About half are red, half are black. Up to date on vaccinations: 8-way, Valbazen, Virashield 6, pour on. This is a very gentle set of heifers out of our closed herd. Currently eating long grass hay. They will make great range cows and have good maternal instincts. You’d better like them because they’ll go forever! Expect them to be raising nice calves up into their mid teens. Their calves also perform well in the feedlot, average daily gain of 3.5 pounds, feed conversion of 5 or 5.5 to 1, 67 percent dressout, 2/3 choice, all yield grade 1 and 2.
