Beach Bumm (aka “Waylon”) is a 14.1-hand sorrel gelding that is the definition of handy, gentle, and talented. He is super-duper broke, quiet minded, and incredibly safe—the kind you can trust every day, no matter the job.

He has been roped on by youth, ranched on by youth, and is very capable when it comes time to sorting and taking care of cattle. Waylon reads a cow naturally, stays soft and responsive, and is handy enough to make any job easier—whether you’re opening gates, dragging calves, or stepping into the sorting pen.

Waylon is awesome to rope on and has the kind of foundation that leaves the door wide open for him to finish into a wonderful breakaway horse or junior rodeo horse, suitable for any level of youth. He stays calm, honest, and forgiving, making him a great confidence builder both in and out of the arena.

He is also excellent to ride outside. He crosses water willingly, is confident and safe, and is sure-footed in rocky country, making him just as enjoyable on the trail or ranch as he is in the arena.

He has a huge heart, gobs of try, and truly doesn’t know what quit is. He shows up every day ready to work, stays willing and honest, and always gives his rider his best.

Waylon is royally bred and eligible for the Gold Buckle. He is sired by Sannman, earner of $200,847 and producer of over $4,025,730, and out of “Purrrfect,” a mare that earned over $67,000, giving him a pedigree that matches his talent and mind.

He is super sound, solid in every way, and stays consistent even with time off. Easy to saddle, easy to ride, and always willing, he has a big personality that makes him fun to be around and a favorite in the barn.
