Buck is a solid, well-built gelding standing 14.3 hands tall and weighs 1100 pounds at 4 years old. We have owned Buck since he was a weanling. He is a true barn favorite and seasoned rope horse with the heart, mind, and skills to do it all. He always meets you at the stall door and will walk up to you in the pasture to be pet and loved on. Buck is great in a herd or in a stall. He is soft in the face, one-hand neck rein, moves off leg pressure, stops hard, and rates cattle with ease. He is safe for all levels – confidence builder for beginners, but enough motor and athletic ability for experienced ropers. Buck is our goto horse for beginner riders as he is so patient and forgiving.

Big time switch ender right here! Or he has the talent and ability to go in any direction. He is experienced on the head and heel side. He has been hauled and won on at jackpots! He stands quiet in the box and leaves off your hand. Buck is a horse that is very easy to rope on has all the speed you need. Buck is consistent and has a nice bend in the corner. He loads easily in the trailer and stands quietly tied. This horse is so special as he is athletic but has a gentle personality.

Buck will do all aspects of ranch work like pushing, gathering, and sorting cattle. He will go wherever you point him, and is very quick to learn. He is confident and will cross fallen logs that are in front of him. He doesn’t hesitate to walk through water and goes through all types of terrain.

This horse is the kind everyone gets along with – honest, kind-eyed, and always gives 100%. Buck is a solid, reliable, go-anywhere-do-anything type.
