Description:
Full time, permanent position available on a cow/calf operation in Southwest Colorado. We run over 500 head year round, flood irrigate and put up our own hay with newer equipment.



Duties include feeding livestock, help with calving, checking and doctoring as needed, general livestock husbandry, fixing fence, managing and maintaining ditches for flood irrigation, running hay equipment and other heavy machinery, and occasionally helping with general property maintenance as needed.



Experience is a must. This is not a full-time cowboying position, but there will be plenty of opportunity for that if you have the skills.



Benefits include housing in a nicely remodeled 3 bedroom house, all utilities paid (electric, gas, water, TV, and internet) half a beef annually, newer work pickup, and full care for two using horses.
