If you are looking for a gentle young prospect with a good foundation that you can ride without worrying about getting hurt, then take a look at Mickey. He is a good looking 5 year old black gelding, 15.1 hh with a big hip and a kind eye. He is extremely well bred, by an own son of Corona Cartel. He tries hard and wants to please, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, or kick. He was started late and has about 120 days of riding on him, and is sound and ready to be finished out in whichever direction you choose. Mickey has been ridden quite a bit out in the pasture, crosses water with no problems, and isn’t spooky. We have played around with him on the barrels just a handful of times, and he seems to have a lot of potential as a barrel horse. But with his quiet disposition, he could do anything from trail riding, to roping, to ranching. Mickey will ride out alone or with a group, and is not barn sour or buddy sour.
