Description:
Ranch in South Central Montana is seeking a full time ranch hand. This individual will report directly to the cow boss, and be involved in day-to-day ranch work including moving cattle on horseback, herd health, branding, weaning, shipping, and putting out mineral and protein block. Additionally, the individual will assist with maintaining water infrastructure, fencing, and general ranch maintenance.



Position Requirements/Responsibilities



- A minimum of 3 years of livestock experience

- Ability to move cattle proficiently by horseback

- Ability to shoe horses

- Ability to work with a crew or alone

- Must have a clean driving record

- Ability to maintain and construct fences

- Ability to operate ranch equipment



Compensation And Benefits

Competitive wages, with housing provided and all utilities paid, beef, insurance for employee and employee’s family after 30-days, 2 weeks paid vacation
