Tow Mater has been a big part of our barn, and anyone who knows him knows hes as sweet as they come. Tow Mater is a 11 year old black Percheron/Quarter horse cross with all the heart in the world. He may be a big boy, but he rides like a handy little horse- soft in the face, responsive, and always trying to please. Heres some things we love about Mater. Hes taken us on countless trails rides, always steady, never in a hurry, but always willing to go anywhere you point him. Hes worked cows, crossed water, stepped over logs, and handled every obstacle we have ever asked of him. Hes truly family friendly- the kind of horse you trust with people who are still learning or just wanting something safe and kind. Tow Mater has the most patient, gentle personality. Hes the type that will stand where hes at to be caught, hes thoughtful, not spooky, and he has a calming presence that makes you feel safe the second you swing a leg over him. Tow Mater has been a blessing to have around and we feel he will be a blessing to you as well.
