Description:
Copper is an 11-year-old gelding with a puppy-dog-like personality. He has been ridden both in the arena and out on the trail extensively. He has been exposed to river crossings, steep mountain climbs, dead fall, cows, dogs, tractors and SXS’s, he carries a flag and can have a stock whip cracked from his back. He stands for the farrier, loads easily into the trailer, and stands to be bathed. He is more woah than go but moves out willingly when asked. He has been used as a kids horse/lesson horse for the past few years. Copper also has exceptional ground manners. He backs, yields his forequarters and hindquarters, lunges, circle drives, crosses obstacles, and more. Copper rides out well alone or in a group. If you started in a group and he gets left behind, he definitely wants to get back to the group. Copper will do best with a confident rider who can tell him who’s boss but just wants a good buddy to take on some good long rides.
