Strawberry Shortcake is a 12 year old, 44” strawberry roan gelding with 4 white socks and a big splash blaze. He is good natured and well trained and has had lots of experience and seasoning. He has been hauled to play days and trail rides and excels at both. He has a super good handle and does anything that’s asked of him confidently. Bess did many hours of groundwork on him to ensure that he is safe no matter what. He will also walk, trot and lope in either direction and is easy to stop and back up. He will take the lead on a trial ride or follow along behind. With his endless stamina Strawberry will keep up with the big horses all day and isn’t scared to go anywhere, no matter how rough the terrain or steep the challenge. He will also go climb hills and hop up and down rocks and cross logs for the more adventurous rider. Strawberry has also been ridden down the road and is safe around traffic and would be a good candidate for parades. Here is a hard to find kind of pony that is safe and playday ready.
