Horse Carriage Driver – Position Overview (Dallas, TX)



We are seeking a reliable, safety-minded Horse Carriage Driver to join our team in Dallas, Texas, providing carriage tours of the city’s beautiful holiday lights. The ideal candidate has prior horse-driving experience and is confident handling well-trained draft horses in busy public environments.



Responsibilities include:

• Safely driving a team hitch of draft horses

• Giving guests a welcoming, enjoyable tour experience through Dallas’ holiday light displays

• Completing daily barn chores.

• Assisting with grooming, harnessing, hitching, and unhitching horses

• Maintaining a clean, professional appearance of the carriage, tack, and horses

• Following all safety protocols and operational procedures



Requirements:

• Must have previous horse-driving experience (commercial carriage, farming, competition, or equivalent)

• Strong horsemanship skills with calm, confident handling

• Ability to work outdoors and in winter weather

• Professional, friendly, and dependable
