Requirements: We are looking to hire someone that is comfortable with starting calves, getting new bawling calves in, checking them daily to pull sick cattle and get them treated. Preferably done by horseback but more than willing to use the 4-wheeler. Will also be used to help process cattle, possibly check/rotate herds, tag calves, keep records, and doctor sick calves on a side-by-side or 4-wheeler; we have nice equipment and expect you to treat our equipment respectfully and clean on a weekly basis.

Could also be used to run hay equipment during haying season if comfortable, or helping with maintenance, or welding and repairing pipe fence if that is a skill that you have.

The main skill we are looking for is someone that has experience with starting cattle, and is comfortable working around cattle on a daily basis in a low stress manner.

No smoking while in our trucks or tractors OR when around us.

There is plenty of room for growth in other areas of the ranch, depending on your experience, skill set, and work ethics.

Has to be honest, hard-working, and have a good attitude. We’re NOT looking for someone who wastes time talking or holding others up from their job, but someone who can keep themselves busy when working alone or with others. We will check references and require 3 or more references from previous or current jobs.

Pay will be based on your experience and willingness to work.
