Description:
My name is Sophie Pitts, I am a 23yr looking for a full-time long-term ranch hand position on a cow/calf operation. Preferably around Montana, North/South Dakota, or Nebraska. I have a year experience in most aspects of ranching from calving, branding (Rope and drag), moving cattle (pairs, Yearlings, and bulls) haying, shipping and preg checking all on horseback. I currently just ended contract with a cow/calf operation that ran about 2,300 cows and 600 replacement heifers. I have a bachelor’s of science in agriculture which has allowed me to gain 4 years experience working in a large animal clinic. I have worked with cows, and horses, and have done everything from basic vaccinations, wellness exams, hospital treatments to emergencies, and surgeries. I am a honest hard working individual, and have learned a lot in the places I have worked, and am willing to learn.
