He is tall enough and stoutly built so an adult can ride him all day with ease. Yet he is short enough and so gentle that he won’t be intimidating to your child. He will get your attention with his stunning good looks. Then he will steal your heart with his sweet, lovable personality. Skipper has been in good hands since the start and has never learned any bad habits or vices. If you need a nice reliable ranch partner, Skipper won’t let you down. He has been used to check and move cows, sort pairs, rope and drag. He is stout enough for a day’s work, yet his smooth gaits and easy transitions make him a joy to be on all day long. Maybe you’re looking for a new trail riding partner. Skipper is happy to go for a relaxing ride. He goes wherever you point him. He guides easily with a one hand neck rein. He will cross whatever obstacle that comes up, from ditches, ravines, deadfall and water crossings big or small. Even things such as bridges, a teeter totter, tarps, big bouncing balls and the bull whip are not a problem. You don’t have to worry if your trail takes you into town or areas with traffic. They aren’t an issue for Skipper either. From bicycles, ATVs, farm machinery, cars, and trucks, he handles them all with ease. He loads in a stock or slant trailer and stands wherever you put him. If your camping and need to highline, Skipper is fine with that too. Skipper also knows how to drive. If you’re looking to take a nice relaxing buggy ride, Skipper has that covered also.
