Cedar is easy going with impeccable ground and saddle manners. She self-loads, backs off the trailer effortlessly, and hauls like a dream, whether it’s solo or in a group. Fun to ride and equipped with a handy neck rein and leg pressure, Cedar excels on trails, confidently crossing obstacles and embracing the great outdoors. There has never been a time I’ve dreaded being around or on this mare, everything is always such a breeze and completely hassle free. With her sweet personality and desire for attention, catching her is never a chore! Cedar is sound, requires no maintenance (even barefoot), and thrives on a simple forage diet. Plus, she stands up beautifully in any arena no matter how dry or sloppy and has no known health issues, aside from a minor scar that doesn’t bother her a lick. No need for spurs here—she’s all about cooperation! Cedar rides in all sorts of variety, being a halter, bridal, war bridal or just a neck rope- this gal will do it all bareback or saddled! Cedar has been lightly jumped over small fences and fallen trees on the trails, and she has also done some ranch/trail classes through our local saddle club! Cedar is classy, safe, and honest- and has limitless opportunities. With her eye catching color and charming chrome, you’re BOUND to turn heads everywhere! This is a mare I seriously trust to carry me through war- she is determined, and full of try yet never overdoes herself. She is an absolute dream that I am so grateful I’ve been able to enjoy! Cedar is not barn, trailer, buddy, gate, anything sour- she will walk right in and out of that arena like she’s carrying a baby. She is extremely user friendly and will work off of neck rein, leg pressure, or a light plow rein- making her incredibly enjoyable for all level riders!
