Bill has been a great horse to have here on the ranch! We have used him moving cattle, ponying colts, checking fence and even sorted on him a handful of times! Some of our more intermediate hands on the ranch have used him in a few of these different settings over the last two years. Although Bill does have the normal halter horse personality, he is easy to be around, to put shoes on, easy with his groundwork and easy to catch. Bill could be used out on the ranch, or enjoyed out on the trail. He will lope big circles in the arena and ride almost solely one-handedly. Take him and put the finishing touches on him and give him a job! We have swung ropes off of him and desensitized him to a lot of stuff, but have not drugged calves or anything like that yet. We wouldn’t recommend Bill as a horse for a beginner, but he’s not dangerous. Bill does have a show record with APHA! His ROM in halter from 2017, his superior halter in 2018. Also his amateur ROM from 2017 and his superior amateur halter from 2019! Give us a call for more info! I am willing to hold Bill for up to 10 days after the sale! Any more than that there will be a $8 a day charge for board! For an additional fee, I would be happy to haul him anywhere in the state of Montana. 406-321-1414
