Description:
At 10 years old, he’s in that perfect sweet spot of life. Seasoned, mature, and completely dependable, yet still athletic, willing, and ready to go any direction you point him. He’s bred to be a speed demon, but you’d never guess it by his kind, quiet, and easy going demeanor. Marshal is truly the definition of steady Eddie with enough buttons to impress when you ask for more. Marshal is one you can confidently toss your novice friends on when they come over wanting to “play cowboy.” He loves to just bop down the trail, take in the scenery, and enjoy the ride. You can go out for 10 miles with a group, then turn around and head another direction completely alone, and he never questions it. No fuss, no drama, just a trustworthy, solid partner. He’s been on lots of cattle drives and handles new environments like he’s been there a hundred times. He rides English and western and has gone over some small jumps. Crosses obstacles, navigates terrain, and marches through anything you point his nose at. Marshal is willing and level headed. He has a very nice handle, responds to seat and leg pressure, good neck rein, easy stop and back up and will walk trot lope pretty circles. He’d be an excellent youth, ranch versatility, or 4-H horse and he has been lightly patterned on the barrels. He’s never been hauled to compete and may not be a 1D contender, but he’d absolutely go to your playdays, fun shows, and local events and do exactly what you ask with a willing heart. He hauls and loads well, is easy to catch, stands tied, has great ground manners, and genuinely wants to be someone’s buddy. Marshal is a big, sweet gelding with the kindest disposition.
