He’s ready to go to work for you and be the best hand in the group. This gelding will truly track and stay latched onto a cow, whether you are sorting pairs, shipping, or needing one to step up in the branding pen. We have steer-tripped, single-man doctored, branded, team roped, ranch rodeoed, sorted, and shipped on him. He is no stranger to a rope or a long day’s work, and he handles every job with a willing attitude and plenty of try. Earp has been laid off for over a month at a time and comes back gentle with no issues. He has a lot of ride to him, yet has also been enjoyed by experienced kids both on the trail and in the arena. He is confident outside, sure footed, and comfortable in all types of country. Will go up and down steep and rocky country like a billy goat. Earp gets along well with other horses, is good around traffic, equipment, and dogs, and stands patiently for grooming, saddling, and farrier work. He is straightforward and reliable with a huge work ethic. Earp offers the combination of talent, experience, and disposition that is hard to find in a young gelding. He is ready to go to work and continue excelling in whichever direction you take him. Willing to keep him for up to 7 days free of charge, then $20 a day will apply.
