Description:
Approximately 190 head of mostly black (few blk baldies) coming 3 yr old cows. Bred to low bw reputation bulls, will calve march 1st for 60 days. These heifers were one of the best sets of heifers that I have ever had, good mothers, and weaned over 96% calf crop from calving through weaning. The calves have been in the feedlot and were test weighed on October 31, strs weighed 525 and heifers weighed 492 after being weaned 3 weeks. They are eating and gaining right at 2.5 lbs per day. These heifers were purchased out of eastern Montana and mostly originated from there. They now reside just east of Cascade MT and will be ready to ship after November 15. Heifers will weigh 1100 plus. Front end kind here. These are good heifers. Been on payback ultramin 12-12 mineral religiously. Poured and vaccinated this fall.
