Not looking for a title but in my early forties im a good fit for management/foreman type jobs. Lifetime in agriculture with the majority of the last 15 years heavily vested in the cattle industry. Experience in heifer development, cow/calf, yearlings, grow yards, stockers, seedstock, bovine health and nutrition. Im a numbers based guy and prefer to be very direct and fact based on things pertaining to the cattle and work. Owner/operator mentality and very driven towards achieving target gains, percentages, etc. I have a very high drive to continue to learn and increase profitability and growth in the cattle industry. Been around the cattle business and ranches extensively and have had the opportunity to be mentored by a few who I consider some of the best profit driven, knowledgeable, performance based ranchers in the industry. Family man, my oldest is in college in Wyoming for agribusiness, 3 still at home all hitting the teenage years and making hands. Own string of horses, shoe my own. I come with all the expected skills, cost management, operation and maintenance of semis/equipment, haying knowledge, calving, identifying sicks, welding, time management, integrity, stockmanship, horsemanship, record keeping, animal Husbandry, irrigation, infrastructure development and maintenance, planning and execution, teamwork, positivity, deep understanding of cost of gain and the complexities associated with cost of gain and adg beyond feed, futures, animal husbandry, types of cattle and suitability for impacted environmental conditions (terrain,forage,weather,altitude,etc). General understanding and ability to execute in almost every aspect of the cattle business.
