2011 AQHA Gelding – “Rooster”



Rooster is a solid, seasoned, and handy gelding who’s done a little bit of everything! Standing just a hair over 15 hands, this 14-year-old AQHA gelding has been used extensively as a ranch horse— gathering, branding, and dragging calves. He’s dependable with no buck in him, and handles time off like a pro—just saddle up and go.



He’s been heeled on, dabbled in mounted shooting, and has plenty of trail miles. For heeling, he does dance in the box, so he’s best for someone who can work through that.



Rooster would be a great fit for an intermediate or above rider looking for a versatile, athletic, and experienced gelding with plenty of try.
