We are both extremely hardworking, reliable, and take pride in doing quality work without needing supervision. My husband is highly skilled in building and remodeling projects of all kinds. He’s experienced with construction, roofing, carpentry, and heavy equipment operation. He’s also a certified mechanic who can repair and maintain everything from trucks to tractors to ranch tools and machinery. I have extensive experience in livestock handling and animal health. I have great horsemanship and stockmanship and have gentled and started colts, given lessons, and handled all aspects of cattle work - including calving, doctoring, sorting, branding, and managing cow/calf pairs as well as heifers and yearling. I also have experience welding for basic repairs! We are both also confident in all aspects and styles of fencing from barb, to pipe, to hot wire and wood. We also both are hunters and great marksman and have experience in predator control. We both ride well and work great as a team, whether horseback or on foot or 4wheeler, or in the shop. We’re ideally looking for a management or lead-hand style position where we can take initiative, oversee daily operations, and contribute to a well run, productive ranch. We have two working horses, truck, and horse trailer ready to go! We are looking for a long term opportunity with a ranch that values integrity, teamwork, and pride in a job well done by folks who love this lifestyle and the livestock we tend. *Bonus if ranch is located in mountainous terrain as we are not huge on the prairie flats!
