Description:
Outstanding pair of horsehead spurs by the late Hall of Fame maker Jerry Cates of Amarillo. In very good condition with 3 1/4" heel openings, 21/4" shanks, 1 1/8" bands, 1 1/2" rowels. He was co-winner of the first Adolph Bayer’s award, along with the late. Billy Klapper. Also, he is featured in the Martin’s book on modern makers. He helped the makers that came after him with their spur and bit making craft. Not many of this style will be found. We pay shipping within the 48 states and accept most forms of payment.
