Description:
Murphy is a beautiful 14.2 hand gelding. I have owned him a little over a year and he has been a pleasure to have around. He has been used on the ranch to gather, sort and rope. He’s been trail rode and will cross water, logs and bridges. He’s riding really nice in the arena, picks up leads, nice stop, backs up lightly, side passes, haunches in and a start of a spin. Murphy is responsive to leg queues and light in the mouth. He’s got the speed and athletic ability to do well in heeling or breakaway, he’s got the looks and pretty movement to do well in the ranch classes or just take him and use him on the ranch or trails. Murphy is still young and I would consider him a little green yet so I wouldn’t recommend him for beginners, but he has always been gentle, he’s never offered to buck or even saddle up tight after months off. He is trained to lay down on queue and side pass up to mounting blocks. Murphy is friendly and easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle and bridle. He has clean straight legs and is sound and healthy(current vet check on file) come try him out in Buffalo WY 406-671-1884. Free board up to two weeks, $20 per day after. We are happy to help arrange shipping anywhere at buyers expense.
