Family-Owned Feedlot & Cow/Calf Operation | Housing Provided | Beef Included



We’re looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team on a family-owned feedlot and cow/calf ranch. This is a full-time, hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities — not a riding-only job, but horseback is our primary method of handling cattle.



What We Offer:

- Bring 2 of your own horses

- A team-oriented work environment that values good stockmanship and a strong work ethic

Job Duties Include:

- Riding feedlot pens, riding pasture herds, and monitoring cattle health daily

- Calving in the spring, summer turnout, weaning in the fall

- Processing cattle and chute doctoring

- Field doctoring pasture herd

- Feeding pens and ensuring proper nutrition

- Fencing and ranch maintenance

- Irrigation work as needed

- Operating equipment (feed trucks, loaders, etc.)

- Practicing good herdsmanship and livestock handling skills

- Added skills that are a plus but not necessary: CDL, welding, light mechanics

Who We’re Looking For:

- Someone who is comfortable on horseback, but understands this job involves more than just riding

- Able to work independently and take initiative when needed

- A team player who communicates well and pitches in wherever necessary

- Reliable, honest, and willing to put in the work — especially during calving season and busy times
