Description:
In search of a ranch hand who is motivated, hardworking, and willing to take initiative.



Our operation consists of cow calf pairs and sheep that range on public land in the summer and calve/lamb from late Dec-March. We round up cattle on horseback. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:



- Fencing

- Horseback work for gathering and checking cattle

- Calving

- Assist with caring for cows

- Identify and doctor sick cattle

- Feed cattle during winter months

- Operate ranch equipment (tractor, feed truck, utv, water truck)

- Putting salt out

- Complete general ranch maintenance and livestock care



Schedule and work expectations:

- Full time, year-round

- During calving - 7 days a week



Compensation and benefits:

- Housing and utilities provided

- 1/2 beef per year

- Health insurance available after 60 days

- Hourly pay dependent on experience



Other things to note:

- CDL preferred but not necessary

- You are welcome to bring one horse that is broke

- Well trained and behaved dogs considered but not permitted in housing
