Description:
Freckles is a really cool horse, the perfect size at 14 hh and built like a tank. She has seen and gathered more cattle than most people will see in a lifetime. Freckles is AQHA registered as “Freckles Frilz Sunny” and is very well bred with Freckles Playboy as well as several other NCHA money earners on her papers. She has packed all ages and levels of riders around the ranch, and she always takes good care of her rider. Freckles is 16 but you wouldn’t know it to ride her. She is sound and very responsive, quick footed when you want her to be and with a running walk that easily keeps up with the bigger horses. She can be turned out for weeks and then you can gather her up and go do a job on her without worrying she will act stupid or get you hurt. Freckles is kind and good minded and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. She has been used on the ranch for all phases of ranch work, including dragging calves, doctoring cattle out in the pasture, and sorting pairs. Freckles has been ridden the right way and is one hand broke with an excellent handle, a light mouth, and a very smooth trot you could sit to all day long. She’s been there, done that, is not spooked or bothered by anything, and is very friendly. Freckles is good on both leads, will sidepass, spin around and work a gate. She is an excellent trail horse as well and will fit just about anyone who can sit up and hold the reins. She will cross water with no problems, go through tall brush, and is very sure footed. She has excellent ground manners, is easy to catch, good for the shoer, stands quietly tied, and loads and hauls well. Freckles will ride out alone as well as with a group, will happily lead or follow, and has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $8,500.
