"Bay Boy is a solid good-looking gelding that is easy riding with the perfect build of a calf horse or heel horse. Stands about 14.2 hands and is about as wide, he has seen miles under his feet, he has been used to gather, sort, and move cattle, we have roped off of him, and he has the arena basics down, which includes loping circles, sidepassing, turning on the forequarters and the hindquarters. He is a very balanced horse with a good solid stop. He has the ranch basics as well and would make a top-notch ranch horse with the build and never ending stamina. He has a very outgoing walk and has a good riding trot. Bay Boy has been used to work colts and pony them, has been used as an outrider horse for starting green teams and has helped catch a runaway team. Bay Boy is about the most honest and reliable horse a person is going to find!! He has always been reliable and has been our back-up horse for everything we have need of him for coming through for us every time and with no funny business either. He is an easy keeper. Sound. We bought him from the breeder and have owned him for 6 years and we started him. His breeder was big on King bloodlines and this is what this horse is!! If you want a good King bred horse, you won’t find a better horse. Both of this gelding’s sire and dam were registered Quarter Horses but unfortunately Bay Boy was never registered due to the breeder’s wife passing away which basically made it to where all the paperwork was lost in her effects and the husband had no desire to get anything sorted out.
