Description:
If you need a stout, solid built using horse that can go all day, everyday but won’t break the bank, then take a look at Snort. He is GRADE, 10 years old and 15 hh, thick and big boned with 4 hard black feet. Snort has been a slave most of his life, being used for all phases of ranch work, including doctoring cattle, sorting pairs, and dragging calves. He strong and tough, never getting into a hurry but able to speed it up if you ask him to. Snort is a cowboys horse, not for a child or your mother in law, a little snorty on the ground but has never offered to hump up or buck with us on him. He is currently being ridden by a 74 year old man. He has a very good handle, is good on both leads, and will work a gate. Snort is strong to the horn and won’t get you into a bind. We don’t have any cattle at this time to show him on live cattle, unfortunately. Snort will cross water with no problems, go through tall brush, and is very sure footed. He has good ground manners, is easy to catch, good for the shoer, stands quietly tied, and loads and hauls well. He will ride out alone as well as with a group, will happily lead or follow, and has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $6,500.
