Gus is a royally bred cowhorse who is fancy broke and ready to take on the job of heel horse or breakaway horse. He tracks a cow nicely, and has had extensive training in reined cowhorse work. He is currently in training with Camri Johnson of J Family Equine, where she focuses on connection, communication, and confidence. He is excelling in her program!



Gus is a sensitive, powerful, and giving horse. He will give you 110% every time, and doesn’t need to be pushed hard to do so. He needs a rider who can ask for what they need with consistency and fairness, and not get hot tempered. He is not for beginner riders due to his quick and powerful response to his rider’s request.



If you are looking for a horse with speed, cow sense, and a heart of gold, then Gus is the horse for you.
