Elmer is a 6 year old 15.3 hand percheron quarter horse cross. He is an absolute puppy dog with the sweetest demeanor. A true melt your heart personality! He rides in the arena with a solid walk trot canter.He collects himself and rides off leg pressure.He rides on a loose rein and is a very simple comfortable ride as well as picks up correct leads, stops nicely and backs up with ease. Elmer has been trail ridden through creeks, crossed logs, bridges, traffic safe, nothing phases him and he handles every situation calmly and mannerly. On the ground he is in your pocket with impeccable ground manners, respects your space and stands quietly for tacking, bathing, clipping ect. He gets along with everyone and is a pleasure to have around. He sells sound. He does require light lunging with time off.
