GALE CATTLE COMPANY

FULL-TIME RANCH HAND POSITION



We are seeking a full-time ranch hand but are open to seasonal help if it makes sense. Located 30 miles south of Nenzel, Ne, we run a commercial cow-calf operation. Spring calving is primarily done on horseback, though we also use ATV’s and side-by-sides. Welding and mechanical skills are a bonus.



Responsibilities include:

-Spring calving approximately 1,000 head

-Bailing approximately 2,500 round bales for winter feed.

-Fencing, haying, weaning, and feeding

-General maintenance and labor intensive tasks





Housing and some beef provided. The ranch is in a remote location, about an hour from the nearest town. Salary is based on experience. A willingness to learn is essential.



DUE TO HOUSEING AT THIS TIME, POSITION IS MOST SUITABLE FOR A SINGLE CANDIDATE. (BUNK HOUSE)
