Meet Styles a 2022 registered AQHA gelding standing at 14.3 hands tall and weighs 1,100 lbs

Styles is a very pretty Dun colored gelding that’s been a lot of fun to have around. He is not finished but has a very very good start and a very bright future ahead of him in so many ways. We have got to do a lot of different things in and out of the arena with him setting him up for a bright future in lots of different ways.

Styles is very solid anymore outside on the road and in traffic as well as on the trails he’s been trail ridden a bunch and even used to direct traffic at events on him.

Along with that he’s hand many hours spent on him in the arena where he’s learned to be soft to the bit and moves off leg cues very easily. He’s started on his stops his lead changes and his turn around as well as transitions.

Along with that he’s been a ranch horses being used outside to gather and load cattle and doctoring cattle on he’s very fun around cattle and has a great foundation there as well.

This guy has a bright future and is ready to go down any path and discipline you choose.

He’s very well built and is 100% sound.



Hip#s 15-19 are this year’s Makeover Challenge Colts. The Makeover Colt Challenge has been designed as an opportunity for young, up-and-coming trainers to showcase their abilities. The trainers are challenged by starting an untrained 3 year old AQHA gelding in only 5 short months. On May 3rd, the selected 5 trainers purchased these colts from Norman Yoder’s farm in Zearing, IA as halter-broke only.



All Makeover Challenge Colts will compete in a Ranch/Trail Class (judged on horsemanship and horses confidence) on Friday after the Sale Horse Preview.
