Description:
METALLIC CAT BREEDING! WOW! Boomer is a 4 yr. old red roan gelding that is spectacular. His 14.3 eye catching appearance will get you noticed wherever you go. He has an outstanding pedigree with sires such as Metallic Cat, Playgun, and Docs Stylish Oak. For being such a young horse, he has one heck of a resume! he was started as a 2 yr. old on the ranch prowling pastures and doing light duty work. He then went on to ride pens and night ship at feedyards. After roughly 6 months he came back to the ranch and began roping and doctoring calves on pasture. He has been to many brandings and drug many calves. We then felt like he was ready for the performance world, and he had 90 days of professional rope training to become a heel horse. He is currently being seasoned on the heel side but could also go to the breakaway or calf horse pen without much work. Boomer is easy fleshing, good traveling, 100% sound, and easy to get along with.
