Looking for full-time/seasonal/day work with cow/calf outfit.



10+ Yrs experience with beef cattle production outfits in North Dakota, Colorado(plains & front range)& CA(Kern/Siskiyou/Mariposa & Stanislaus counties)

70% Cow-calf/stocker operations

-of these, well over 50% weaned & backgrounded their own calves to market as yearlings or stockers or through a shared-ownership arrangement with a local feedlot

20% Confined/fed cattle background



Ran mostly natural-certified and NHTC cattle, Although I rode pens for a large growyard for two seasons backgrounding weaned and I calves throughout 2 winters that mostly shipped to finish in spring

Beyond Natural/NHTC marketed calves, Ive rode pens about two years with conventional implanted calves

Finally, just under two years of experience with niche cattle(organic-fed/Grass-fed/Grass-finished, wagyu cows & crosses)





- Competent calver; Experience successfully handling most dystocia situations. Can pull calves & reorient breaches.

- Current BQA Certified through the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association

- Sound horsemanship & competent Roper

- Competent fencer, builds/ emplaces right type of fence for the situation & geography, Proficient with hand tools and powered equipment like hydro. post drivers., wire spool rollers, etc

- Capable with Ranch plumbing, tank, line, & trough repair, maintenance. 4 Yrs Exp. boxing springs & daisy-chaining tanks downhill

-3yrs+ Irrigation experience: pump operation, hand & wheel lines, flood.

-6+ yrs using loaders, can mount/use most PTO-drive/ hydraulic-actuated attachments mounted in the front & 3-pt mounted configurations.

- 5+ yrs haying & putting up cereal, alfalfa, grass bails. 3 Yrs experience putting up silage

-Capable of roping & Dring cows & calves in pasture solo or in tandem

-Great with herd health, pharmaceuticals, routes of administration, vaccinations, insect/vector control products, Knowledgeable on State/Fed legal compliance in regards to treatment & Rx uses



Finally, 13 years of service as an active duty infantry NCO with over 3 cumulative years of years combat leadership experience
