Description:
We really enjoy having this handsome bay roan gelding around. He is known as Rocker around our barn and is so easy to have around. He doesn’t cause any problems in a stall or out in the pasture. He comes running to see you every day and is an all-around happy horse. Rocker has always saddled up gently with no buck or bad habits and is ready to enjoy the day with you. Tarps, flags, the umbrella you name it we have desensitized and exposed him to it all and Rocker took right to it and didn’t mind. Rope his legs and he just goes with the flow. At only 6 years old; Rocker is good minded and willing to please no matter what we have thrown his direction. He’s been used on the ranch gathering cattle, in the sorting alley he is handy and quick footed when needed and works a rope well to doctor one or drag calves at branding time. Rocker is well rounded, talented, kind, honest, willing to learn new things and will get around quickly on his feet when asked or will just go for a relaxing ride. We have spent a lot of time with Rocker down the trails as well. He crosses everything in his path with confidence. Take him out alone or in a group, he doesn’t mind either way. We have ridden him through the creeks, over bridges, thick brush you name it he’s seen it. Cars or semis flying by him at 75 miles an hour while checking the mail is just fine by Rocker. He has a ton of personality and wants to be your best friend. Every time I go out to catch him from pasture, he just makes me smile as he runs up and basically puts his head in the halter. When it’s time to get turned back out we just hop on the side-by-side and lead him out to the pasture. He is great out with other horses, stands to be bathed, groomed, saddled, puts his head down to be bridled and is all around easy and fun to be around. Rocker is currently shod on all 4 feet but does not require shoes. He stands 15.1h with a thicker build. This is an all-around gelding that can go to the performance arena, continue his life as a ranch horse or be the prettiest one riding down the trails. FMI call Casey (406)897-4717
