Juanita is a 9 year old mule that’s as solid and trustworthy as they come. She’s been the personal mount for my 13 year old brother, which says everything about her temperament and dependability. When a mule can safely carry a youth through every kind of job and adventure, you know she’s the kind you don’t come across every day. Juanita has done absolutely everything on the ranch from sorting cattle, dragging calves, gathering pastures, and covering country in all directions. She’ll go anywhere you point her without hesitation, sure-footed and confident no matter the terrain. Juanita has been used for hog hunting, packed in the mountains, and even been hauled along on lion hunts. She takes it all in stride and has the stamina to go all day. She’s also excellent with her ears and feet, something every mule person knows is a big deal. Gentle, honest, and broke. She’s the best mule we’ve ever owned! If you’re looking for a seasoned partner that’s seen it all, carried youth with confidence, and has the heart and grit to handle anything from the ranch to the mountains, Juanita is the one.
