Buttercup is proudly offered by The Bess Pony Collection. She is an adorable 3 year old super quiet and gentle, line back dun. She stands 48” tall and has a good strong confirmation. If honest , friendly and good looking is what you want, Buttercup is the pony for you!!! With her cool cowboy color, great personality and a good solid foundation, she is definitely a Bess Rose special!

She has had lots of training in the arena and handles correctly with ease. She is always calm and easy going. She handles all 4 feet safely and loves her grooming time. She rides well in a saddle but also rides great bareback. Kids can slide off of her rump like a slide at the playground and climb up her legs like a rope ladder. In her young life she has been the monkey bars for kids in the barnyard as well as a super sturdy trail mount on all day trail rides. She will follow other horses calmly or take the lead down the trail or through the brush.

Buttercup would excel as a confidence builder for a kid that is wanting to upgrade from a leadline pony to riding by themselves. She has been exposed to a lot for a young horse, and with that experience she acts like an older seasoned broke horse.

Buttercup is always easy to catch and happy to be with people, especially kids. She is just as happy to play around home and in the arena as she is riding through the woods. While she is exceptionally beautiful and very well trained, what really makes her stand apart from the rest is her sweet, loving personality. You can’t train that into them and you certainly can’t make them be that good, she was just born with it. Bess Rose just polished her up with a good handle and a solid foundation. Now she is ready for her forever home and her own kids to love.
