My name is Seth Foley, I’m 24 years old, born and raised in Helena Montana, but am willing to go out of state for work. I have a good work ethic, am not afraid of working long days. I am very teachable, with a quiet mouth and open eyes and ears with the attitude of wanting to learn. Anything new that is taught to me, I do it the way I’m told to with a yes sir/yes ma’am. Im looking for a ranch hand job, preferably one that does most work with horses, but any experience I can gain will be worth it to me. I don’t have hardly any experience working cattle, but have been hired on as a horse wrangler in Medora North Dakota for the summer/fall of 2025. My job here has involved feeding and helping take care of 60+ horses. Along with some doctoring of cuts, kicks, colic, etc. Along with that, I take out guided rides for people of varying experience levels. Most have never been on a horse before. We are also the people who ride the horses in the Medora musical. We also have 4 colts we are breaking/finishing that they are teaching me on. The horse wrangler job is supposed to be a good first step to gain a little experience for me to get hired on somewhere else that is more fit to what I want to do, which is training horses. Specifically cow horses/cutters, but in order to do so, I also need to know how to work cattle on horseback. This isn’t just something I randomly out of the blue decided that I think I’d wanna do, I have a genuine love and passion for working with horses, and it is my dream to train horses as my career, so this is something I have been giving my all to reach.
