Description:
This is a bit by Frank Mayfield of California. Keep in mind that Mr. Mayfield passed in 1929 to give you an idea on the age of this bit. It was in a wreck at some point and the repair is ingenious. Not only that, it was repaired stout enough to drive your truck over it. The bit has a unique 4 1/2" tall spade, 4 3/4" wide mouth, and a 7 1/2" long shank.
