Room & Board: Included Phone #: 520-365-0305 click to view fullsize image Description: The True Ranch Collection is looking for a qualified individual for a Wrangler/Ranch Maintenance role at our historic ranches. Position is available at Rancho de la Osa in Southern, Arizona, 1.5 hours southwest of Tucson. Rancho de la Osa’s season begins in October with the potential to continue onward to our northern ranches in Montana or Wyoming for the summer season. Ideal candidates will be able to work year-round and remain a part of the True Ranch Collection team at our different guest ranch properties in Arizona, Montana and Wyoming. Additionally, this position may float to other True Ranch properties as needed. Each of our ranches has a small staff and we are looking for individuals who will be team players and able to step in where needed. Ample horse experience and riding skills, plus general maintenance skills are required. Applicants must be hard working with good people skills. Duties will vary day to day depending on the needs of the ranch and will include wrangling and maintenance work. Wrangler duties Include but are not limited to: -Leading or dragging ranch trail rides -Ensuring safety of guests and livestock on guided trail rides -Feeding, grooming and tacking horses -Clean-up of corral area and stalls -Leading other guest activities such as UTV Tours, Sport Shooting, Archery, Fishing, Guided Hikes -Assistance with housekeeping and kitchen duties -Ability to adjust to short-notice changes -Horse hauling experience a plus General maintenance skills required, and maintenance duties include: -Electrical -Carpentry -Plumbing -Drywalling -Painting -General vehicle/equipment maintenance -HVAC experience -Landscaping Room and board are included in compensation package.
