Description:
Scarmardo Ranches located in Caldwell, Texas has an opening for a Ranch Cowboy Position at our Caldwell, Texas Ranch location.

This position is a full time, year-round, hands-on position that is responsible for the daily care of cattle.



Daily Task includes but is not limited to:

- doctoring and backgrounding cattle in preparation for grass or feed yard.

- administering vaccinations

- shipping, sorting and receiving cattle

- keeping accurate documentation of doctoring sick calves as well as any dead’s

- pen & pasture maintenance as needed

- all other responsibilities associated with backgrounding high risk calves

- various other tasks as assigned by the Ranch Manager



- Must be adaptable to an irregular work schedule, to include evenings, weekends & holidays.



Benefits/Compensation:

- Salary: TBD

- Company paid housing

- Ranch vehicle provided

- boarding/feed/farrier for up to three horses, used on the ranch.

- Other benefits such as medical, dental & 401K are to be discussed.



Job Qualifications:

- Must have a valid driver’s license

- Previous experience & knowledge is a must

- Horsemanship skills

- Pass background check & drug test
