Custom Dave Murray Spurs – Made for Joe Nab – $4,850



Pair of custom sterling silver overlay spurs by California silversmith Dave Murray, made in 1978 for Joe Nab, longtime owner of Clark Feeds and Western Store in Los Angeles. Both spurs are marked MURRAY, one also dated 1978. Heel bands feature bold “JOE” silver inlay.



This pair comes directly from the Nab estate and remains a rare one-owner documented commission. Murray’s spurs are significantly rarer than his bits, making this set especially desirable for advanced collectors. Exceptional craftsmanship and historic provenance tied to one of the West’s most prominent horsemen and collectors. A letter of provenance from Rick Nab, Joe’s son, will be included.
