Description:
I’ve got a 2-year-old intact male Border Collie, purchased in June, looking for the right fit. He’s on the slower side, making him a great beginner dog. More of a nose biter than a heel biter.



He’s timid around men but does excellent with women. He’s really bonded with my wife — not timid with her at all, has a great recall, and will work for her. With me, recall hasn’t been as good, and he doesn’t really want to work for me.



Work & Training:



Purchased in June from a handler in Nebraska.



I’ve hauled him with me to do farm chores, check cattle, and rotate pastures.



Has been worked in an open field with pairs — that was a bit too much pressure for him, so he needs more experience with smaller cattle.



Responds well to commands, just needs more miles and confidence.



He does have a few quirks, but the right handler (especially a woman) could bring out his potential.
