He is by our late stallion, Starlight Oak Hero (LTE Approx: $300K) and out of Shady Pat Bars that was a really good ranch mare you could rope on, sort on, or just have an enjoyable ride on. He comes with 30 days riding and is coming along really well. I put his first set of shoes on a few days ago and was impressed with how good he did with no drugs. He has a really good foot and bone on him and comes jet black without a single white hair on him. He travels out really well and isn’t lazy or broncy at all. He’ll be one of those $40K geldings in a couple years. He’s 14.3 right now and I’m guessing he’ll be all of 15 hands or possibly 15.1 and stout when he’s finished growing. He is an in your pocket type and is easy to catch and handle. He likes people. He loads/unloads easily and gets along with other horses well. The hard part is done on this one...so let the fun begin and get him bought! His Dam carried me many miles with plenty of wet saddle blankets and more memories than I can count. A maternal brother is causing a storm in the rope horse world. If I had the time to keep him going, I wouldn’t be selling hime! I really enjoy riding this gelding!
