This colt has High Brow Cat, Grey’s Starlight, & Doc’s Oak all on his papers!



All you guys looking for the diamond in the rough, here it is! This colt is going to be one of the most athletic and best movers in the offering. A few years ago my Father-in-law, Gib Yardley, and I went to South Dakota to Fisher Farms to look at their paint horses. Gib has raise a few paint horses for 75 years and always wanted to go see their paints. We got there and looked through hundreds of horses. Although this colt’s dam (Catzanne who is a High Brow Cat Son) was a little standoffish she was our favorite to look at and she moved the best. We partnered on her and I started training her. She gentled down quickly after I started working with her. She rode so good and had a big stop on her.



I don’t know if I’ve ridden one that could moved laterally as quickly as her.



I wanted to continue training her and make a cool heel horse out of her but Gib couldn’t hardly contain his excitement to start breeding her. We compromised and bred her! Gib was pretty disappointed this cold didn’t have more markings, but he sure can move! This colt appears to have inherited a lot of those good traits his mother had and Starlight Midnight’s good traits are shining through too. This one is going to ride and make an awesome gelding. I’m excited to see who gets this one!
