What’s not to love about this eye-catching dun gelding? Cliff is the kind of horse that works hard and looks good doing it.



Cliff is a 2018 AQHA registered gelding standing 15.1 hands tall. He has a kind and gentle demeanor that has made him a joy to be around here on the ranch. Before we acquired him, this horse was used on a ranch in the mountains of Colorado where he gained experience in rough and rocky terrain as well as crossing water and navigating thick brush. Since then, he has spent time on a ranch in Wyoming where he experienced big country and long days. These first few years of his life were instrumental in making him the levelheaded and hardworking horse that he is today.



Since we got Cliff, he has been one of our go-to horses on the ranch. We have exposed him to all aspects of ranch work, and he has excelled at everything we’ve asked. We have used him to rope countless cattle in the branding pen, doctor in the pasture, and tag numerous calves. Although he is laid back and easy going, he has lots of run to catch fast cattle in the pasture. This gelding has not only been our main mount for a day’s work, but he has been the horse that we trust with less experienced riders as well. He is the kind of horse that you catch in the middle of a snowstorm if you need to get a job done. Cliff is a top-notch ranch horse with a full resume making him a real asset to have around.



Cliff has spent his fair share of time in the arena over the last year. He rides around really nice, able to lope smooth and level circles, turn around, and stop.
