Description:
Hi, I currently ranch in Virginia and my wife is a small animal vet. We have our own cattle business on leased land and manage an operation for another family. For multiple reasons, we are thinking about relocation. Scaling a ranch is difficult here, and we would be interested in managing a ranch in the west along with the opportunity to own some cows. I have degrees in ag and a lot of experience with cattle and grazing management. Here in the east, we move cattle daily for much of the year. I pride myself in thinking outside the box and would prefer to work in some form of regenerative ag. We both are passionate about ranching and have been to the Ranching for Profit school. Ideally my wife could have a role on the ranch and would be able to step away from vet work as we grow a family. We have one daughter right now.



I can send interested parties a resume upon request. My experience ranges from various locations in Virginia as well as several years in Oklahoma. In previous years I have ridden a lot and started colts using natural horsemanship. I have not roped much but utilizing horses is something I would like to start doing again.



This would not be an immediate change, as we have things at our current location that would take a while to finalize. Just wanting to develop some conversation and see what opportunities are out there for a couple who is very passionate about ranching, the land, and this way of life.
