Description:
If you want a pretty, gentle and well trained gelding that is safe for the whole family, take a look at this gelding we call Duck!!

Duck is a 15hand 6yr old quarter horse gelding that is well trained in and out of the arena, he picks up both his leads and has a nice stop. He has a smooth walk, trot and canter and is soft in the bridle. Duck neckreins, sidepasses and yields to leg cues.

Duck is a seasoned trail horse and will go over logs, through water and wherever you point his head. We have taken him on day ridesat national parks and ridden him down the main highway into town. We have used Duck to push cattle and check fences here on the farm and he never refuses whatever discipline you choose for him. We have used Duck for walk trot lessons in the arena and he does well with that because he does not easily get rattled or annoyed. My little boys can get him out and brush and lead him around the farm and Duck always takes care of them.

We have also ridden him in english tack and does take a jump really well and seems to enjoy it. Duck does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd. He loads and unloads without a fuss. He stands to be tacked, mounted and to be bathed and shod. Duck has a sweet personality and is the first to meet you at the gate.
