He is very patient with kids as young as 6 years old, either on the ground pampering him or riding him. Patriot absolutely melts in the hands of our daughter when she goes to the barn each day to give pets and treats.

If you don’t have any interest in showing, that is totally fine because his resume does not stop in the arena. He does require show maintenance. Patriot is well versed on the trails and loves going on all kinds of adventures with his rider. He is a lot of fun to take across the obstacles, check the mailbox, and go over bridges on. Our daughter rides him around bareback most of the time and insists she carries the American Flag on him, he really is the best babysitter! He has impeccable ground manners and is very easy to handle.
