Goose is a stunning grey gelding that is versatile, well rounded, and has western looking written all over him. He will come finds you for attention and is always the first to come meet you at the gate. His long black mane and tail make him very unique and a complete head turner everywhere he goes. He’s handy on the ranch and quiet enough for the kids to ride! We can’t express how kind natured and user-friendly Goose is! Standing at 15.2h he’s the perfect size to suit a wide variety of riders and his easy-going personality makes him family friendly for all levels of riders. He’s a seasoned ranch horse. He’s been roped on in the arena, in the pasture and is as honest as they come down the trails. Ride him through town with all the traffic he doesn’t bat an eye. Ride him out alone or with others. His is a trusted trail mount through thick brush, hills, rivers, and more. He’s sure footed and quiet. Always riding on a loose rein and guiding one handed makes him easy and fun to ride. Goose is just as fun to ride in the arena where he lopes around smoothly and relaxed and is very smooth in all of his gaits. This 7-year-old gelding is the true definition of an old soul. He rides off the same way every time whether it’s negative or 100 degrees, sun shining or snow. You won’t have to worry about anything silly with this kind-hearted gentleman! Just saddle up, climb on and go! We have used him extensively on the ranch. He pulls hard from the horn, stands to doctor cattle. He will pull one in the trailer, drag a calf to the fire at branding time or hold one in the alley. He’s done it all and is the first horse we all want to catch to go use! We haven’t found anything on the trails he won’t cross, any hill he won’t go down, or stream he won’t cross! He pays attention in rough terrain and with sure foot placement will pick his way up and down rocky/ steep spots. Goose isn’t spooky and is always aiming to please.
